Guest response to rental agent – October 2, 2012, 10:13 am
Hi [Rental Agent] –
Thanks for the birthday wishes! We had an absolutely amazing time.
Everything was perfect and impeccable and fantastic. Ramon and Eduardo
were top notch, and the accommodations were beautiful. Thanks so much for
helping us with all of the details!!!

My only complaint about spending a week at the Villa Suzannah is that when the week is over, re-entry to normal life is very painful. Thanks for all of your efforts in keeping the Villa so nice for your guests. This was my 3rd visit, and I will hope to return again. I thought that the entire week was wonderful, and we had terrific assistance from Silvestri, Ramon, Rosy and Lupe.

Our stay in Puerto Vallarta was fantastic. Your home is magnificent and
very well equipped and laid out. The staff was great and the food
divine. We enjoyed the Mismaloya area, quieter and more relaxing then
downtown. We have been going to Acapulco for 10 years, this year was our
first year in Puerto Vallarta. I thought Acapulco was great but now that
we have stayed in Puerto Vallarta I am a convert. The weather is better,
the people nicer, food is unbelievable and the area is safer.
Thank you so much. Villa Suzannah was fantastic. I would highly
recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic trip. Villa living is the way to go! It is very satisfying to trust in someone and have expectations exceeded.
Thanks for that.
As I am sure Rosy will report, we left a few times, but chose to eat every meal in. Alonso did a phenominal job – all plates were empty when they went back to the kitchen.
Silvestre is top notch; although I’m afraid you may lose him to the entertainment industry. His jokes and tricks were timely and appropriate.
Lupita kept the gorgeous place in tip top condition. She picked up our routine quickly and was in and out of the suites and never noticed. Everything just magically reset each day.
And of course Rosy made sure we were all squared away and had everything we needed and wanted. She represents you well.
We had a great stay and look forward to the next time!
Thanks again Denis.

I just saw Villa Suzannah on EXTRA TV. They were doing a show called
mansions and millionaires in Mexico. Much to my surprise and delight they
showed Villa Suzannah!! Did you see it?
I was so excited I could barely contain myself. Made me homesick for
another trip to your beautiful villa!
Denise Speicher (DeeDee) – May 28, 2011, 9:27 am
On a scale of 1-10 this villa was a 20!!
We had four couples that went the first week of May to celebrate a dear friends 50th birthday.
This was the most luxurious and relaxing vacation we have ever had.
All meals, three a day were lovingly prepared by our chef Alonzo The food was wonderful and beautifully presented. We even took “plate pictures” as they looked like we were being served in a five star resturaunt.
The villa decor was a mix of contempory and traditional Mexico. Very tasteful and comfortable. I would have loved a few of the pieces for my home in California!
The pool area was huge with a perfect amount of sun and shade. The large covered area with fridge, bar, comfy couches and chairs was a great place to be when we had enough sun as well as at night. The view was awesome and there were even some blow up pool lounges to float on.
Sylvestre our server and “go to guy” somehow always managed to be there when needed. His professional behavior and great personality was loved by all. In fact, we all wanted to take him home! The frosty margaritas and cervezas brought down to the pool were a special treat.
Lupita was our housekeeper but the villa is so huge we hardly ever saw her. However, fresh towels were rolled up on our pool lounges, beds made and the villa always tidy let us know she was around.
The villa was so nice we actually found it hard to leave it to sightseeing and only left twice.
We walked to the bottom of the street and took the local bus to town one day to shop and see the local flair. Another day we walked down to the beach which was beautiful. Everyone was so nice from the local business owners to the vendors that walk the beach. We even got some nice souvenirs to take home.
We also want to thank Rosy for checking in daily and answering all our questions. She was also the Costco shopper!
To sum this up, this was hands down, one of the best experience’s we’ve ever had. In fact, we all decided we will visit Villa Suzannah same time next year. Can’t wait!!
Karla Frick-Fira – May 19, 2011, 10:04 pm
We had such a good time in March – we had 4 people with us that had never been there before and then also had Matt/Jill who have been with us several times in addition to on their own as they got married there several years back. Everyone just loved it there !
The place as usual was fabulous as was the food and service. I love what you all have done with the pool area (large fridge, new light, entertainment center with TV, etc.), new palapa, paint in the rooms, etc. – it is just such a beautiful place and has such a great view – I don’t think any one villa has a view like the one you all have. Our friends were just blown away and said that it was by far the best trip that they had ever been on. We had plenty of time to really relax which was so nice, and also had plenty of time to see things as well. The guys did the zip line and had so much fun with that along with the jet skis and boat ride with snorkeling. All my friends told me they were so sad to leave and that we needed to find a way to all retire there – Ha !
The service and food was also wonderful! Rosy, Ramon and Lupita are always so nice! Rosy is great and just so good at getting things scheduled and organized – she scheduled our dinner reservations in town one night, our zip line adventure, boat ride, spa treatments, birthday cake, Trio, etc., and she does such a good job with that and got us some great deals as well. She is just super ! Ramon’s food was great as usual. He is just an outstanding chef – he can cook so many different types of food and all the meals were great – we all gained weight on the trip which definitely means we ate good! Lupita always does such a great job as well keeping the place clean and tidy. Sylvestre, the server, was also very nice and accommodating. We had not had him before, but he was a funny guy (he had all these fun little tricks he would teach us) and did a great job as well running down to the pool and back up all those stairs everyday to keep us stocked with drinks and snacks. He also was great with the table presentation for all meals and just really took good care of us.
We MOST DEFINITELY will be back! We just have such a wonderful time EVERYTIME we visit Villa Suzannah and can think of no other place that is nicer!
We look forward to visiting again late this year or early 2012.
Stephen Baker – April 27, 2011, 1:00 pm
(email) I think we all enjoyed this stay even more than the last visit. I didn’t think the food could get any better, but we all agreed it was. . .
Debra Allan – April 26, 2011, 8:05 am
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the villa. Besides being outragesly beautiful it was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had which we completely contribute to the staff. I can’t say enough about Rosy and her staff. They were all wonderful! We never had to worry about a thing. Not even planning the meals. They just took care of everything and were always so gracious even when there was a change in plans. We hope we can make this a yearly vacation (or at least once every two years). Thank you for making it available. It was a fabulous trip.
Lynette – April 19, 2011, 1:32 pm
Great experience!! The home was gorgeous with amazing views. All bedrooms were great. The pool area was fabulous. The hospitality extended to us by Sylvestre, Ramon, Lupita, Juanito and Rosie was wonderful. We enjoyed all of our meals and did not go out to restaurants at all. It was so nice to have all of the food shopping handled by the staff. What a relaxing week. Didn’t want to leave….we’ll be back
Repeat Guest – March 24, 2011, 6:18 pm
Another great trip! Sylvester was an OUTSTANDING server!! Ramon?s cooking was fantastic as always and Rosy was very professional and quick to respond.
Ed, Seattle, WA – November 30, 2010, 10:57 am
Wonderful! Villa Suzannah exceeded our expectations. The house was amazing with views from each room. The service was unbelievable. I cannot say enough about the hospitality we were shown by Ramon, Carlos, Lupita, and Rosie. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we wanted. Ramon is an amazing chef! We will definitely be back next year.
Steve and Janet, Keller, TX – July 9, 2010, 5:57 am
Villa Suzannah was wonderful and the service at the villa was fabulous.
The pictures don?t do it justice, the view is unbelievable and the staff FAR exceeded our expectations! Food (Ramon is a great chef)and service (Lupita did our laundry every day!) was top-notch. Shopping was handled by the staff?what a time-saver for us, not having to waste precious grocery time shopping for food and wine! Rosie (administrator) even went to Costco to get us the best deals on wine and champagne 🙂 My daughter left her stuffed animal in the van that picked us up from the airport and Rosie tracked it down for her and got it back! Also, I got home and realized I was missing half of a bikini and they have tracked it down and are returning it to me! Talk about great service and going above and beyond!
We spent a couple of afternoons at the beach, had massages in the villa as well as down on the beach, went out in a boat, guys went fishing, went into town for one day, but the rest of the time, just lounged around, read, and relaxed?didn’t want to come home 🙂
Return Guest – June 10, 2010, 8:15 am
We had such a great time AGAIN at the villa. My brother and his wife had
not been there before, and they LOVED it. The weather was fabulous.
Ramon and Lupita were GREAT as usual. The food was spectacular, and Ramon
did such a great job with our favorites that he makes and even with the
new things that we asked him to make as well. Ivan, the
server, was outstanding also. Rosie mentioned this was the first time
that he had worked at the villa, but you would have never known it. He
was super attentive and just so very, very nice and accommodating. He was
always there to get us what we needed and was also good at knowing what we
needed without asking. His English was also very good which made speaking
to him very easy. I definitely think you all made a great decision in
having him on your staff.
– March 31, 2010, 10:24 am
Hello Denis just to let you know our stay was just lovely! Everyone was
just so friendly and helpful. Chef did well with our veggie friend, and food was
flavorful. . . Our French couple fell in love with the place and plan to contact you for a booking… Here’s too all who made our trip such a success!!! Thanks again to Rosy… Have a great summer and we will visit again.. GRACIAS! Gloria and Bruce

We just wanted you to know how pleased we were with our recent stay at
Villa Suzannah (January 14-21, 2010). What a fantastic place! The Villa
itself with its tasteful decor was wonderful, but that was only the beginning. The staff was incredible – especially Daniel and the unbelievably talented chef, Ramon.? Because of Ramon’s delicious meals, we never wanted to try the fine restaurants in town. The one expensive meal we did eat in town did not compare to Ramon’s creations. Your administrator, Rosy, was a pleasure to deal with every day. Also, our arrangements for the trip with Jennifer of [Rental Agency] were handled so efficiently, and helped make the whole process worry free. And of course – what a view! We have already told so many people about our great experience and have a list of people thinking about going to Villa Suzannah. Our problem now is whether to keep returning to Villa Suzannah or to try other locations. Your villa and its staff will make it very difficult for us and our friends not to return to try and duplicate this perfect vacation.
– January 30, 2010, 10:38 am
Dear [Agent], I am sorry that I have not written you before now.. Paul and I had an amazing time at Villa Suzannah and like you said the staff was fantastic. If we could have, we would have brought them home with us. We ended up having three meals a day there except for one night when we went out to dinner and it wasn’t good at all. The house is breathtaking and is decorated like you would believe a Mexican villa would be. The staff took very good care of us and we really appreciated them. We definitely will recommend you to all our friends and family and I know we will
be doing this again soon! Once again, I cannot stop raving about the wonderful trip we had. Lots of love, and thank you, it was GREAT!!!
(Return Guest) – October 23, 2009, 3:25 pm
We had a GREAT time as the villa and the new folks that we took simply loved it. We have permanently placed Villa Suzannah on our favorites list and plan to visit each year as we did this one.
– October 17, 2009, 1:15 pm
Thank you, we had the best best time in Villa Suzannah, it’s the most beautiful
house I stayed. I uploded the pictures in my facebook so please check it.
We are planning to go back to Villa Suzannah on Sonja’s brithday next year as well!!!
– August 15, 2009, 8:01 am
A vacation we will never forget, everything was fabulous – from the views, hospitality, food – definately give this hacienda a 5 star rating!!!

. . .Your villa is one that we will keep returning to for years to come for sure! We had such a wonderful time there, and the people, accommodations and food were FABULOUS
Diana – July 12, 2009, 9:13 pm
The moment we drove up to the villa, we were captivated by the view through the expansive entry to the ocean. Viilla Suzannah is far and away the perfect setting for a holiday in Puerto Vallarta. Alonzo and Daniel, our chef and assistant made the stay even more spectacular creating inventive and inviting menus that delighted both the eye and the pallet. Their friendly service and attention to detail made all of us feel welcome.
We hope to return to “our” beautiful villa one day soon.
– July 6, 2009, 7:07 am
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Vila Suzannah. The pictures
on the auction board did not do it justice. Beautiful place with outstanding views of the bay below. One thing none of us were prepared for was thequality of the food. Everything was prepared perfectly and the presentation was outstanding. Daniel and Alonzo outdid themselves and were very helpful in getting us transportation etc.
– June 10, 2009, 4:40 pm
We had a fabulous time there and all was great – the staff was all very friendly, the place was wonderful, weather was wonderful, and food was excellent. We would definitely visit again and have provided the site location to many of our friends.
– June 8, 2009, 11:26 am
We very much enjoyed the Villa and in fact we
will look for future avail as we usually like to visit PV 3-4 times a
year. We both agreed we couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else now that
we’ve stayed at Villa Suzannah . . . Again — we loved every minute of our visit.
– April 18, 2009, 6:28 pm
We had a great stay. Rosy the house manager was at our beck and call. The cook was good and it was nice to have our meals at this beautiful home. We never wanted to leave. Truly the most spectacular views and architecture. . .
Highly suggest having Rosy arrange for massages at the villa.
Jerry & The Jerdon Group – April 10, 2009, 12:13 pm
Our group had a great stay at your villa. Temoc severed excellent meals and Luis kept the margaritas glasses full plus early morning coffee. Lupita kept the villa spotless and Rosy managed the money, spa and golf outing.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Villa Suzannah will definitely be in our future plans.
– March 16, 2009, 12:13 pm
What a spectacular house this is! The architecture, details and furnishings create an amazing setting for one of the greatest views imaginable. We loved it! Add to this the attentive service of Rosy, Alonzo, Lupe and Romon, and you have a very special vacation indeed. Come enjoy this beautiful villa.
– January 16, 2009, 8:58 am
We wanted to let you know how much we all loved Villa Suzannah!! It was
far better than even the pictures we saw. Rosy made our stay absolutely
perfect! She gave us great dinner reservations, taxis and a fabulous day
trip from La Playa de Mismaloya (I may not have spelled that correctly).
And we loved Ruben’s food, as well as Ivan and Lupita. Thanks again
for sharing your home with us.
– August 4, 2008, 10:26 am
What a wonderful house. We were staying in a villa down the hill during
the previous week, but I must say that yours is far more lovely. We’ll
certainly bear it in mind for the future. Thanks again for putting us up for the night.
– July 15, 2008, 7:51 pm
Words cannot describe what a beautiful place Villa Suzannah is. As my family and I entered the villa we were awed by the amazing views as well as the wonderful staff. I would like to thank Rosy, Alonso, David, and Lupe for making our week so special. To say that they are accommodating is an understatement, every wish we had they made available. The villa itself is stunning, you really cannot get the whole feel until you walk through the front entry way. Thank you again for a wonderful week!
– March 29, 2008, 3:35 pm
I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you. Once we got back to Michigan it was off to work and it’s been hectic ever since. I think it’s time for another vacation.
WOW…where do I start. First, the driver that you booked was waiting happily for us outside of Baggage Claim. Even though we were about an 1 and 1/2 hours late getting in, he was there holding up the Suzannah sign like you promised. We got to Villa Suzannah and from then on we were blown away. Even though we had toured the house 2 years ago, the Villa was even prettier than I remembered, and although the pictures of the house on the website are beautiful, they just don’t do it justice. Alonzo, Daniel and Lupita were there waiting our arrival with Dinner being prepared and Homemade Guacamole, Salsa and Tortilla Chips ready for us to snack on. Every night we ate in was a treat. Alonzo is an excellent cook and the service was fantastic. Since I was the only one in our group that spoke (broken) Spanish, I was the one doing most of the communicating. They all made us feel very comfortable, and made sure we didn’t go without anything. There were a few days that we ventured off to the Beaches, Zip Lining and shopping but most of our time was spent at the Villa. It was so hard to break ourselves away from the beautiful artwork and views that the house offered, so we stayed in as much as possible. No where else will you find as beautiful of sunsets that we witnessed. Three days out of our stay we were able to see whales from the balconies. What a treat!! … The memories that we created there will never fade. Thank you so much for everything . . .
Wishing you much success,
and the rest of the group.
Maggie and Rich – January 23, 2008, 7:12 am
After reading the comments from previous guests it’s clear that Villa Suzannah and all the hosts associated are top notch and consistant when it comes to making each guest feel special. My first impression of the Villa was overwhelming. The website photos helped me anticipate the beauty but the absolute best was actually being there and being able to take in the surrounding landscape and enjoy the detail of the items that decorate each room in the Villa. The only way to capture the breathtaking feeling one gets when entering is to–just do it.
The eight of us only ate dinner out one night because we are convinced that Alonso and Russell are the best staff Puerto Vallarta has to offer and they are working right there at Villa Suzannah.
Thanks also to Daniel and Rosey who greeted us warmly and coordinated our sightseeing and shopping trips. And Lupita for her warm and friendly smile while attending taking care that all was clean and in order.
Rich and I are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to enjoy one wonderful week and want to thank you for all the care and love you put into making the perfect place to relax for all who are welcomed at Villa Suzannah.

Every day since we have returned I remember all of the ways in which our vacation refreshed us and pampered us and treated us to extraordinary beauty! The attention to detail in every part of the Villa was so apparent. All of the people were unbelievably helpful and gracious. The views were the most beautiful I have ever seen! It was romantic and private and also a great way to get to know each other in a way we never have before.
Maggie and I have not really been together since our return and have not had a chance to coordinate a more fitting thank you but I want you to know that our trip gives me the energy I need as we go into this crazy season and that it more than provided me with enough relaxation and enjoyment and renewal then any vacation I have ever had. Gene and my sister and brother in law all share this feeling and express enormous gratitude to you.
I know those of you who know me tease me for my superlatives. This time I don?t have enough!
With great affection and enormous gratitude,

Hi Denis: I’ve been home for a couple of days, but the glow of PV
and Villa Suzannah hasn’t quite worn off yet. Ah, those days on the
patio, soaking in the pool, drinking margaritas. Everything was
great. Alonso is a delightful person and a great cook; Lupita was
pleasant, efficient and helpful, as were Russell and Daniel.
No complaints. Thanks for making this wonderful donation to Marin

To our friends at Villa Suzannah. Thank you for making our first wedding anniversary unforgettable…even the lightening storms were magical and romantic. Massages on the terrace during a warm rain, breath-taking ocean views and wonderful company. We felt like royalty.
The setting was exquisite and the food — nothing less than fabulous, thank you Alonso, David, Lupita and Daniel. We can’t wait to come back.
Jill & Matt – June 28, 2007, 8:22 am
Matt and I rented Villa Suzannah for our wedding and honeymoon. The villa is gorgeous and views amazing. It was the perfect setting for our ceremony and reception -what a wonderful ambiance for a special occasion. The staff was great too – Enrique, Alonso and Lupita – we were so spoiled – and they were so kind and pleasant – made our trip most enjoyable! And finally, we have to rave about Alonso and his culinary skills – the food was awesome! We hope to return to Villa Suzannah in the future!
Jen, Steve, Marc, Kathy, – June 13, 2007, 8:16 am
What an amazing week! Alonso kept us satiated with his treasures from the kitchen. Rosy was a tremendous help with our outings – and a wonderful Spanish teacher. Daniel oversaw it all – with professionalism and his charming personality. Hector was about making sure all functioned well in your GORGEOUS home. David kept us with margaritas at hand. And Lupita saw to it that all was in order. Thank you for an incredible week! We’re sure to return!

We both agree that this is the best vacation we have ever had and it will probably be the best we ever will have. . .
Dee Adams – April 6, 2007, 4:14 pm
Again, I’d like to say thanks for a wonderful stay. The boys spoil us rotten and every year we come back it gets even better. The renovations to the house are stunning and it is easily the most gorgeous house on the street. See you again same time next year. It was great to be able to celebrate Angel’s birthday with him as he is a dear friend as well as Alonso. See you soon.
– March 21, 2007, 9:07 pm
What a pleasure to share your slice of paradise complete with Angel, no less, and Alonzo who is such a good chef. Both of these young men added to our delight and comfort making us at ease as well. And Lupita is a quiet treasure. Your house staff strikes the perfect balance. We would (and hope to) return in the nearest possible future.
– March 20, 2007, 10:14 am
We cannot possibly say enough good things about how comfortable and luxurious our stay was at the Villa Suzannah this week in March. We loved the house! It was immaculate and exceedingly well-decorated and well-stocked with kitchen ware and towels galore. The weather was perfect for spending all day in the house’s many outdoor seating areas, appreciating the grand views of the Mismaloya Bay. Angel and Alonso’s culinary expertise made meal time the focal point of every day. Each dish was plated beautifully and tasted DELICIOUS (we especially liked the chili rellenos)! It was the most logistical-free and relaxing vacation we have taken as a whole family in memory! All made for a relaxing and comfortable visit. We will definitely rave to all our vacationing friends.
Clients of Char’s Villas – March 6, 2007, 11:04 am
What a great time at Villa Suzannah. Thanks for checking in on us by phone. It was everything you said it would be. Great! Alonzo and Angel and Lupita were great staff. They were all tipped handsomely. We are thinking of dates for the next stay. When you get a chance, I would like to see the BEST of your smaller villas, if Denise and I just want to go ourselves. We would certainly want it to be as upscale as Suzannah. Suzannah is a redo if we can get everyone together again.
Best Regards, (clients)

We were there form Jan 24th-31st, 2007 and had an absolutely AWESOME visit. The villa was beautiful and the views breathtaking. As hoteliers and frequent travelers we always stay in upscale hotels and resorts. After this visit we may never stay at another hotel again for vacations. Your staff, Alonso, Angel, and Lupita had great personalities and provided exemplary service. Alonso?s cooking was wonderful. I couldn?t get enough of his paella and ceviche and my husband even ate the leftover bruschetta for breakfast. . .the whole atmosphere in the pool area is very relaxing. We can?t wait for our next visit!

We had a wonderful time in villa suzannah, the service was excellent the house incredible and the cook Alonso and his helper Angel were so kind with our family and because of them we also gained a couple of pounds (but worth every one) made us feel very special. In fact we are from Baja, California Mexico and Alonso told us that we were their first Mexican family in Villa Suzannah. Our New Year party with our children and grandchildren will be unforgetable. I highly recomended this villa and alll the staff.
